My Story

Meet Elexis Gianni - the founder of Giannis Collection and Giannis Corner. 

Giannis Collection is a home based candle company operating in the heart of Dallas, TX.  My inspiration has always been my family but my motivator is definitely my relationship with God. I've always had a passion to create; ever since I was a child I've loved to draw, create blankets, and design shirts, so the candle making process intrigued me. 

Growing up in a cozy home filled with the warm glow of flickering candles, my love of candles has always been there. 

In 2019, me and my dad founded a nonprofit called 'This Just In...' (501(c)3) and we were looking for ways to raise money without having to solely depend on donations. From there the candles were a hit and in 2021. Giannis Collection was born. 

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Child Development and Family Living (Axe 'Em ;) ). Not long after that I worked in the education field before transitioning to the tech field where I worked for Texas Instruments in the education technology department, which is where I rediscovered my love for children's literature.  

I've had a passion for literature since I was a child. I have entries at the age of 6 where I'm pouring out "my life" into my diaries. Ironically I wrote my first book 'Mommy's Little Sonshine' years before I even knew 'Giannis Collection' would be a thing.  

EVERYTHING has a purpose. 

I'm very thankful and beyond blessed for the creation and growth of Giannis Collection. I'm extremely blessed to be in business and because of that, I take pride in creating beautiful products and providing excellent customer service. I pray anyone who comes in contact with me or any of my products, has a remarkable encounter that leaves them feeling loved and inspired.
